US 1969, Oracle Records - ORS-703
The Group:
This band began as The Front Page News in Boston, Massachusetts. They were considered a hard psychedelic band that included Steve Cataldo on vocals. They were short lived for internal reasons and only completed this one recording.
At the time (1969) they were considered by some to be hard-core rock. Times have changed.
The Brother Fox members surfaced in other bands such as The Hard Knox, The Pugsley Union, and The Nervous Eaters. This was their only LP.
*Condition and Personal Reflections:
The cover has some minor corner pressing that's hardly noticable. It's still in shrink wrap. I bought this still sealed years/decades ago and immediately dubbed it to a cassette. So verifiably it's only been played once! The vinyl however isn't in mint condition but is definitely in excellent condition.
*There are no stickers, cuts or writing on the cover. This is a great a example of this unique 1969 recording. I imagine there's not many of these around. I'd like to see this record go to a good home with anyone who appreciates both music and curiosities.
