Description

BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN – BLINDED BY THE LIGHT – WHITE LABEL PROMO (STEREO/MONO RADIO ONLY VERSIONS) – Columbia 4-45805 (U.S. 45 rpm Stereo/Mono Radio Station Copy). Disc is Near Mint Minus; Labels are Near Mint; Generic Columbia Outer Sleeve is Near Mint Minus.

Released in 1973, 5 years after Mono pressings had stopped being produced in any real volume, this Promo Only pressing featured Mono and Stereo mixes of Bruce’s hit, Blinded By The Light, on both sides. Not all radio stations were equipped to broadcast in Stereo in 1973, thus the optional mixes. This pressing is unique and considered Rare. [Due to their faster turning speed and wider groove spread, 45 rpm pressings exhibit more detailed playback than LP pressings, which turn slower and feature more compacted groove spread.]

All vinyl records from VinylKing46 (eBay’s ORIGINAL VINYLKING) are pre-cleaned and inserted into paper inner sleeves before mailing to Buyer (unless factory sealed). Discs are packaged separately from sleeves to protect against seam splitting. Sleeves are inserted into mylar outer sleeves and both disc and sleeve are shipped in 7” EP/45-specific boxes and packed with bubble wrap or hard cardboard.

I grade conservatively and by Goldmine standards.
