Description

Bruce Springsteen. Spirit In The Night b/w For You.  Columbia Records 45864. Ultra-rare original STOCK COPY.   Record in VG+++/EX condition. Record appears unplayed,  Light paper scuff on each side from record removal.  Not audible. There is a tiny factory imperfection on outer edge of record.  Not in play area.  Label  in VG++/EX condition.  Sticker with #10 on one side of  label.  Label has light storage wear with very small paper loss on edge of label.  (Please see pictures).  Because this is such a rare and valuable record, I have tried to describe every minor flaw.  Please email with any questions.    USA.  1973.

This record came from a collection of 56,000 45s.   Most of the records have been stored for many years and look great.   These records came from a very serious collector.   He started collecting in the 1950s.  By the 1970s all records appear to have been bought new, filed in boxes and not played.  As a result, some may exhibit light storage wear.  If the record is listed less than M-, it is due to storage and should play like new.  All have a sticker with a number on the label.    All sleeves have info  (label, issue date, value, etc.) written on them in pencil.





Grading:
M-    Looks close to new. No visible scratches.
VG+++ Very close to M-.
VG++   Well cared for. Shows minimal wear.
VG+  Some light scratches and surface noise. No skips.
