Description
Bruce Woodley
Just Good Friends
RCA, Australia 1971
Here's an original Australian pressing of the Just Good Friends LP by Bruce Woodley, issued in 1971
Super rare debut solo LP by Bruce Woodley
This one slipped off the radar, maybe it was a bit too adventurous for the majority of Seekers fans
His name as a member of The Seekers prevented a younger 'hipper' crowd from buying this album, anyway there's some really good stuff here, it's singer songwriter rural / folk with some psychedelic fuzz guitar running through a few tracks
'New England Lady' is a great track with sitars and flutes
The original Gatefold Sleeve had 2 models having sex, unsurprisingly it was withdrawn!
Classic Australian Seekers related LP
Original Australian pressing from 1971 on the RCA label, catalogue no. SL-101910
CONDITION
VINYL: Near MINT
Vinyl is Near MINT, beautiful gleaming virtually unmarked high gloss surfaces, in magnificent condition
GATEFOLD SLEEVE: VG++ / EX+
The laminated outside of the Gatefold Sleeve is VG++ some rubbing only, the inside Gatefold is a superb EX+, in really fine shape
