Description

BRUNSWICK: AXTL 1036 BACH/TURECK:WELL-TEMPERED CLAVIER

These are 5 LP mono records on the plum Brunswick label, catalogue numbers AXTL 1036/38/39/40/41.  Note that a sixth disc, AXTL 1037, is missing.  (Since the pieces on each of the discs are individual preludes & fugues that are complete in themselves, the missing record, whilst regretted, does not detract from listening to the remainder.)

A very rare collection by the most renowned pianist, Rosalyn Tureck, issued in 1960 and featuring Books I & II Preludes & Fugues.  Each disc is in near mint.  Each record is in a separate laminated cover in excellent condition, apart from a light ball-pen identification number at top RH corner.
