Description
Nick Drake 'BRYTER LAYTER' vinyl LP. Bought new - by me - in 1975. Original Island 1970 pressing, which means it was cut from the master tape directly it was completed and has the greatest clarity, and in its original plastic lined inner sleeve. No damage to the vinyl, which I took enormous care of and played on an AR turntable with a lightweight arm. It's in great condition. But the cardboard outer looks slightly scruffy now with one small tear to the top left corner where I had a small catalogue sticker and slight rippling. But no stains ... just aged. I haven't owned a turntable for about 25 years and this has been in storage with all my other LPs so it's pointless keeping them. Played recently though, on a friend's system, to confirm condition.
I was always obsessively careful with my vinyl, so although the cardboard is showing its age the contents are fine. I have sold five other high value vintage LPs over the last year with 100% success. (Two Pink Floyd, Fruup, Bob Dylan and Elton John). Everyone was happy with their purchase!
This will be packed properly, with the vinyl in a separate wrapping and the cardboard outer sent empty. It will reach you safely.
