Very RARE US first pressing of Bud Powell`s early recording "The Amazing Bud Powell Vol. 2 " on Blue Note Records (1954).
Bud Powell, piano, George Duvivier, bass, Arthur Taylor, drums.
Tracklisting: Reets And I/Autumn In New York/I Want To Be Happy/Sure thing Glass Enclosure/Collard Greens And Black-Eye Peas/Polka Dots And Moonbeams/Audrey
GRADING:
EX COVER with a fair amount of general wear. Please see photos for details.
- Beginnings of corner split (approx. 5mm in length) at bottom left.
- Edge wear along bottom, with lightly "shaved" bottom corner (at right).
- Very light wear only to front sleeve.
- Darkening to rear sleeve, especially along edges.
EX(+) RECORD. Played a fair amount but in very passable allround condition.
- Visually somewhat "cloudy" with age, with general hairlining.
- Minimal recurring background crackle, especially in between tracks.
- Blue Note "Lexington Ave." address labels with spindle wear to both sides.
- A few superficial scuffs cause 1-2 light clicks on each side, nothing serious
- Continuous, fully enjoyable audio reproduction; definitely no skips or jumps.
