Up for auction here is "Time Waits" by the amazing Bud Powell on the Blue Note label, catalog #BLP 1598. The mono LP (with West 63rd address and no registry "R" on the label and RVG stamped in dead wax) is VG/VG+ some light sleeve scuffs and one more prominent mark that crosses most of a side. But I played the whole thing (I wasn't going to, but when I dropped the needle the sound was so awesome I couldn't stop listening!) and there is some light surface noise, but it is really only apparent in the quiet between tracks. It's a super hot mix and just sounds great. The cover has a piece of packing tape along the length of the bottom seam. There's some tape on the back cover with the number 1851 written on it, and some tape residue on front cover at top left. There seems to be a bit of color fading along the left hand side as well, but I think it still displays fairly well. This is some prime Bud Powell and anyone should be pleased to add it to their collection. I've never heard this album sound better...I wish I could afford to keep it.
