How unique is this one! If you are a real Buddy Holly fan, you have to have this one! This is probably the one you have been looking for. To the best of my knowledge this was pressed in 1979. IT HAS EVERYTHING! I mean EVERYTHING. This is a six disc British press of every song that Buddy Holly ever did! Let me allow the liner notes on back to explain better than I: "For the first time ever this is the complete collection of every record by Buddy Holly & The Crickets together with many rare and hard to find interviews, television appearances and demo recordings. Over 120 tracks from the original mono and stereo masters complete with session dates and personnel. The set is compiled and extensively annotated by John Beecher and Malcolm Jones who have brought together many rare and unpublished photographs in a special 60 page Buddy Holly and The Crickets souvenir scrapbook." Interviews with Dick Clark on Bandstand, Alan Freed, and appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show. Box is rated VG for soling to its cream color. Lid still attached but all four corners are broken down. The discs however--are you ready for this--played on my turntable at Near Mint. I heard nothing overtly distracting. Includes six custom light cardboard inner sleeves and of course the 60 page booklet. You may never see it again--not in this condition! I'll pay shipping within U.S. only.
