Year: APRIL 1958
Album recorded 25 January, 22 July, 15 November, 1956.
This is an original 1958 copy, on the US DECCA label. The colour/B&W jacket is in very good condition, in appearance. The bottom seam, however, is torn about halfway across, from right to left. The tear is even. The rest of the jacket remains intact! The vinyl, including the half-round black-silver DECCA label, is in good+ condition. The physical appearance of the vinyl looks as though it may not play properly. Not so! I have played the whole album through on a special TECHNICS SL1200 MK2, and it played right through with a minimum of clicks or pops. Overall, very good. If it did not play well at all I would have said so. Sometimes collectors will purchase an album, like this, just for its historic value.
We are not asking a lot, due to its age, condition, and because there are other copies of this available. It is worth quite a bit to any Buddy Holly fans, and/or collectors.
