1956, THE CHIRPING CRICKETS, BUDDY HOLLY, SELF TITLED ROCK/ROCKABILLY LP, SELF TITLED on Brunswick BL 54038, TEXTURED COVER, MONO,1956. See back for those spectacular titles you will hear and the fabulous liner notes about the group. The album/sleeve is VG with some edge, corner, ring and paper wear. On back are a few stains and age wear and faded writing. Seam split at top right of 7" and at bottom of 12" The record is G- as there are many scuffs, mars and scratches that do create static on every title. HOWEVER, the group still sounds fantastic and most of the songs are crisp and awesome after 60 years. There aren't many of this record left so ignore the static, and enjoy BUDDY HOLLY and the CRICKETS for what they were, the FIRST great rock/rockbilly GROUP ever.
