BUDDY HOLLY - That'll Be The Day - 1961 Decca Label LP

Time to pass on my original Buddy Holly LP's to other fans and collectors out there. This is a 1961 LP release by Buddy Holly titled "That'll Be The Day" on Decca DL-8707, black label with color bars. I bought this LP when released and played it quite a bit over the years, so even though the vinyl still has a nice high gloss, there are some noticeable light surface scratches along with the "wispy" surface scuffs associated with repeated removal and insertion of the vinyl into the inner sleeve. As a result, you may notice some light background noise during play, but it is low and not distracting. There is still very nice clarity in the vocals and sound. The label still looks real good with nice color, just a hint of surface wear. The inner paper sleeve is original and has pictures and information about other Decca artists' LPs of the time. The inner sleeve has a bottom center seam split (sides are okay) with some nicks and small tears at the top where the record is inserted. The cover has light surface wear and a couple of light creases, with some light soiling on the front and back. The edges look okay (no seam splits) with most of the wear on the insertion edge. The top and bottom left side corners look very good, as does the spine. The top right and bottom right corners have heavier wear (insertion side) with some bending. Side one tracks are: 1) You Are My One Desire, 2) Blue Days - Black Nights, 3) Modern Don Juan, 4) Rock Around With Ollie Vee, 5) Ting-A-Ling, and 6) Girl On My Mind. Side two songs are: 1) That'll Be The Day, 2) Love Me, 3) I'm Changing All Those Changes, 4) Don't Come Back Knockin', and, 5) Midnight Shift. Remember, this is a USED LP, so if you should decide to bid, please keep that in mind when bidding.
