TITLE/INFO: If you have interest in great conditioned "oldies" of all varieties (in both vinyl and CD formats), please continue to check in on my site as I have many more items to sell yet in addition to what's already on the site - and thank you in advance. These rare and collectible 45's - the first three he released - are by the legendary Buddy Holly and all are on their original, 1st press labels!! Please see the 12 pictures above and the individual listings at the end of this write-up for all the titles and more detailed descriptions on each record. I have shown both sides of all 3 records in the pictures above - but again, each 45 is titled and listed in more detail at the end of this item description. These records are all from the 1957, a couple of years before we lost this outstanding talent to a February, 1959 plane crash. For the record, all of these 45's would be worth far more than the opening bid all by themselves if they appeared in better condition. Each of them appear to be well played with many light paper/surface lines, but this has little effect on the actual play of the records. I play tested all three 45s and two of them play just fine with slight background crackling only primarily in the dead wax areas, while the 3rd one ("That'll Be The Day") does have background crackling sounds throughout, but this is quieted by the music once it begins - yes, the music easily dominates. Having said all this, I still feel they would be a nice addition to anyone who desires an original Buddy Holly recording and doesn't yet own a copy. INTERESTING FACTS: As always and because of the lesser conditions I've already mentioned, I have begun the auction at a low opening bid and have no reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck! FYI, if anyone wants to bid on multiple items to save on postage costs, I am more than happy to "save" your winning pieces here at the house until you are ready for shipping - just tell me ahead of time, wait for my invoice (not EBay's), and pay for each item as you win them. I am selling off my entire personal collection of records and "stuff", and there are 100's more items to list yet. The initial charges for overseas shipping are $25.00 for these 45s - but then much less per record after that. PLEASE NOTE: I will not be responsible for packages that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services. 2) "Not Fade Away/Oh, Boy!" - Brunswick 9-55035 - on original maroon colored label - light, whispy surface/paper lines throughout - Poor to fair in appearance, but it plays just fine;

3) "That'll Be The Day/I'm Looking For Someone To Love" - Brunswick 9-55009 - on original maroon colored label - light, whispy surface/paper lines throughout - Poor to fair in appearance, but it plays okay with some popping/cracking background noise.
