I have been an Elvis fan and collector all my life. The time has come to let my last few really special items go to someone else who will appreciate them like I have done.

For Sale - Buddy Holly's personal copy of Milkcow Blues Boogie on the Sun label

Bought from the Buddy Holly Auction in 2006 (catalogue to accompany item). 

I love the fact that a young Buddy Holly in Lubbock, Texas went to a store and bought this record by the then emerging singer Elvis Presley. There isn't much else to say about it. It's probably the rarest Sun single anyway, it's in lovely condition, but as you probably know the famous Sun hiss means it's not great to listen to. Hence the reason I had it framed, because this is not about the sound this is about the history.

Full provenance (letter from Buddy's widow, Maria Elena) and the famous pushmarks are present
