Description
Regrettably having to sell off some of my prized items as I am unable to work now. I have amassed many collectable items over the years, most I never intended to part with, all genres, many demo's, rare presses etc etc many of which will be listed in the coming days, weeks and months.
This is an Incredibly rare white label test press of the classic Budgie LP, almost impossible to find nowadays. It was part of a very large collection of Demo's, test presses and factory samples from the 60's onward, mainly EMI associated, most of which were unplayed.
Cat no. - MCF 2723
Matrix nos. - MCF 2723 A-1U "PORKY PRIME CUT" and MCF 2723 B-1U "PECKO"
Mothers / stampers - 1 G, 1 G
Comes in plain inner sleeve.
GRADING
VINYL - EX / VG - Generally EX all round except for some light paper slide marks and 1 small scratch (or press fault?) on side 2 track 3 (ee detail in "AUDIO")
LABELS - NM - Clean labels are almost unmarked
AUDIO - EX / VG - There are 3 light repeating clicks at the start of track 1, side 1, relatively minor, the rest of the side plays NM. Side 2 has the odd light dusty tick but the mark at the start of track 3 does cause 7 repeating moderate clicks which fade after the 4th click. In general, bar the 2 issues mentioned, playback is absolutely great.
All singles and albums have been cleaned on the latest HANSS ACOUSTICS cleaning machine
