BUDGIE - British Radio Sessions 1972 LP
LONG OUT OF PRINT! VERY RARE!
Limited to 500 copies, black vinyl released in beautiful, gatefold, laminated cover with cool and very rare pictures of the band. In the early 70s Budgie were THE heaviest band in the world! This 52 minute album contains the whole, fantastic studio session (4 tracks) recorded by the BBC for John Peel in February 1972 (at the time of their debut album). The sound quality on Side 1 is very good (better than on rare 'Heavier Than Air' CD). Side 2 contains great live gig recorded for the BBC at Paris Theatre in November 1972. Sound quality on Side 2 is simply perfect.

All tracks on Side 2 recorded live at the Paris Theatre, London for the BBC 'In Concert' programme on 19th October 1972. Previously released on BBC Transcription Services 'Pop Spectacular - Budgie/J.S.D. Band In Concert' promotional LP. Excellent quality radio broadcast.
