The heavy rock field in the early 70s was dominated by Deep Purple, Uriah Heep and Black Sabbath, and having seen all those bands, still BUDGIE were absolutely outstanding!
With far less equipment this 3 piece unit rocked as loud! They were also at least as good as any on recordings too.
This lp has to be one of the best of the time, and from start to finish it's excellent music throughout. Heavy metal had only just got a name, BUDGIE must be one of the better examples of that genre.
It's a keeper, and ranks among the better prog hard rock records, and bands!
