BUDGIE Never Turn Your Back On A Friend 1973 1st UK Press SUPERB N.MINT RARE LP
This record has been vacuum machine cleaned and test played in full on quality hi-fi. My grading is based on the UK record collector grading system. I will gladly combine postage on multiple items so check out my other records. Thanks
Details:- From my own personal collection - original 1973 UK 1st pressing of Never Turn Your Back On A Friend By Budgie. Released on the black MCA label, catalogue no.MDKS 8010. The record is housed in the original unlaminated gatefold sleeve by Robert Stace and the original blue stereo polylined inner sleeve.
MATRIX / STAMPERS; SIDE 1; 7 - LNMG -277 -2L, SIDE 2; 7 - LNMG - 278 -1L
Vinyl Condition:- Superb condition. This record has been payed no more than two times plus the recent test play. The vinyl sounds and lloks as good as the day it was pressed. Top audio throught out
Sleeve Condition:- EX. Despite having the owners name written in the top right hand cornetr the overall condtion is still a decent EX. There is just a small amout of light partial ringwear on the back. Other than that everything else is in very nice shape. No splits, no rips, no noticable wear to edges or corners. A nice crisp wide and fully readable spine. Perfect inside the gatefold
Label Condition:- NEAR MINT. Lovely clean labels with no wear at all. One fine spindle mark on one side and two on the other

Grading Abbreviations
Grading below is as stated from UK Record Collector. I also use +/- for records that fall somewhere between a grade
Mint (M)
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent (EX)
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG)
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable
Good (G)
The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
Fair (F)
The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
Poor (P)
The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing
Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
