BUDGIE - SQUAWK
A TRUE AND VERY RARE FIRST PRESSING OF THE ORIGINAL UK RELEASE OF SQUAWK. A GREAT COPY OF AN EXTREMELY RARE AND SOUGHT AFTER RECORD THAT IS fully play tested and cleaned WITH A DISCO ANTISTATIC RECORD CLEANING MACHINE.

GRADING
SLEEVE –VG+ - Slight ring wear to rear visible for 3 inches on opening edge and four inches on the top. That being said, the ring wear is slight and not very noticeable (see pictures). Apart from ring wear the back of the sleeve is excellent with the inset white rectangle being unsullied and clean. The RODGER DEAN artwork on the cover is beautiful and clean with no noticeable fading. There is very slight ring wear to top of front but this is not at all apparent (see picture). The edges are strong and mainly unaffected by wear with the spine being totally intact with all writing clear and legible. There is a small asterisk in blue pen on top of front of sleeve at edge near aperture (see picture). A really hard one to grade so I decided to err on the side of caution..
Record –VG+– Visually there are a small number of scuffs and superficial scratches. Slight surface noise during some tracks although this noise is not at all obtrusive. A really pleasurable and fantastic listen (as opposed to records that were badly cared for where you spend most of the time cringing through the distortion, crackles and other general interference). The record still retains its deep obsidian lustre. Labels are EX.
The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
