Description

Offered is "Buffalo Springfield". This is the self titled debut album from Neil Young, Stephen Stills & Co.

This is the very scarce Mono release,33 200 (no A).

In addition this is the absolute first pressing with the track "Baby Don't Scold" included. This track was soon deleted on subsequent issues in favor of the radio hit, "For What It's Worth". The record is housed in the original date appropriate Atco inner sleeve.

However, the most unique thing about this record are the labels!! These labels have a completely different print size and track arrangement. The print on this record is much larger than others I've seen of the same title. Also, on other self titled Buffalo Springfield records I've seen listed there is only one track printed above the spindle hole on both sides. The record offered here has TWO tracks listed above the spindle hole on each side! This rare anamoly is the only one I have seen on ebay,and I've checked many! (see pic)

Fully Play Graded: There is audible surface sound heard throughout this record. It is more prevalent on Side 1. The surface sound is less evident on Side 2. That being said, I feel this record will be better than satisfactory listening. Grading: Good+ / VG minus.
