Description

This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy of a 1994 archival LP of 1970-71 recordings by Bulbous Creation.  From a suburb of Kansas City, the group played garagey hard rock that frequently takes a dark turn: songs like "Fever Machine Man," "Hooked," "Under the Black Sun," and "Satan" touch on drug addiction and the occult in a way that inevitably recalls Black Sabbath along with other British groups like Writing on the Wall and Human Beast.  There is also a cover of the R&B chestnut "Stormy Monday," which at least fits in thematically.  This material has been re-released a few times over the past decade, but this small Rockadelic pressing represents its first appearance in any format.  The record is housed in a plain yellow jacket with red cover slicks on the front and back covers.  The cover slicks are pristine, and the jacket is close to pristine with a little light creasing in the corners (M-).  The disc is clean, and plays with minimal surface noise -- a strong M-.

I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.

If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
