Description
Odeon 192094
Artist: Dorotei Vasilev
Tracks: Zaplakala e Vdovitsa / Zaborchyakhü Radke Zadulzhakhu
Another from the very rare Odeon series of the late 1920s, recorded probably in Sofia (though perhaps in Berlin), featuring all manner of urban folk musicians. Male vocalist Dorotei Vasilev performs two slow, "bavna pesen" type, mournful tunes, accompanied by violin and accordion. Solid disc.
Condition: V (even play wear and marks - plays decently - typical condition for any Bulgarian disc of this vintage)
I will be regularly selling a lot of amazing discs from around the world in the coming months. Please bookmark me and check back in.
