Description
You are bidding on a copy of Bulldozer's 1985 debut album, The Day of Wrath, on Roadrunner Records (made in the Netherlands). Record is Excellent+, cover is Excellent+ (some ring wear to the top of the jacket).
I grade records as follows:
Vinyl:
Sealed : Record is sealed in its shrink wrap
Mint- : Record has been opened, but has no signs of play or wear. No scratches, hairlines from the paper sleeve, or other imperfections should be visible. I am of the viewpoint that if it is opened, it cannot be mint, so mint- is the highest I grade unsealed items.
Excellent+ : Some signs of play, including minimal fine markings from taking the record in and out of its inner sleeve, may be present. No deep scratches that would cause clicking or popping.
Excellent : Some signs of play, including fine markings from taking the record in and out of its inner sleeve, may be present, as well as a scratch or two.
Very good+ : A minimal amount of scratches may be present.
Anything below that, I throw away. No one wants scratched up records!
Jackets:
Mint- : Almost no ringwear, no crushed or bent corners, no holes or wear to spine.
Excellent+ : Some ringwear, may have a bent corner or worn spine (this will be identified in the listing).
Excellent : Moderate ringwear, may have a bent corner or a hole in the spine or top/bottom of jacket (this will be identified in the listing).
Very good+ : Multiple bent corners or holes in spine or top/bottom of jacket (this will be identified in the listing).
Very good : This one looks like it's been through the ringer. Usually not sold unless a rare record with the vinyl in better condition.
PLEASE NOTE: With regard to cover condition, some sellers will automatically deduct from the jacket rating if the item has a cut out. I do not do this, but I will note any cut corner in the listing. Same goes for stickers or other items on the jacket. I rate jackets so that buyers will have some idea of the wear and tear of the item which cannot come across in a picture, not to tell you what I think a cut-out is worth. So if the jacket is rated mint- with a cutout, it means little to no wear on the jacket, but with a cut-out. If you feel that a cut-out makes an otherwise near-flawless jacket excellent or very good as a matter of course, please adjust my ratings accordingly.
Shipping is $4 media within the US, with an additional $1 for each additional item. Insurance is available for an additional $2 if buyer desires it. I pack everything securely, using 13"X13" boxes designed for the shipment of records, taking the records out of jackets to avoid spine damage during shipping, putting both the record and jacket in a plastic sleeve so that the record doesn't slide around during shipping and get scratched or worn, and inserting additional cardboard into the boxes as needed. International buyers must pay actual shipping cost. I DO NOT GOUGE ON SHIPPING! Please contact me for shipping rates to your country.
