This is a RARE AND UNIQUE UK TEST PRESSING MOD / DEXY'S MIDNIGHT RUNNERS related single by the band THE BUREAU from 1981, ORIGINAL TEST PRESSING AND A MUST !!!
This single is a UNIQUE TEST PRESSING AND COULD BE A DIFFERENT VERSION FROM THE REGULAR RELEASE (I don's have the commercial release to compare it to).
As you can see from the pictures the labels read: BUREAU 2nd TPs (SECOND TEST PRESSING which means they were not happy with the first one and this one might not have been the finished one).
The matrices also lead me to elieve that this might be a different version as they are different from the official release and read: SIDE 1: WEA T/P (test pressing) K-18478-A1 and ARUN, SIDE 2: WEA T/P K-18478-B1, BOTH SIDES HAVE THE SERATED EDGE AROUND THE LABEL !!!
The band included members from the original line up of DEXY'S MIDNIGHT RUNNERS and MICK TALBOT after THE MERTON PARKAS and before he teamed up with PAUL WELLER under the name of THE STYLE COUNCIL !!!
The single was pressed in 1981 on WEA RECORDS, catalogue number K-18478.
The songs are: ONLY FOR SHEEP / THE FIRST ONE.
This TEST PRESSING SINGLE does not come with the P/S, but came in the WEA COMPANY SLEEVE and the condition of the VINYL is in EX condition (PLAYED TWICE !!!).
DON'T LET THIS RARE MOD / DEXY'S MIDNIGHT RUNNERS related TEST PRESSING single get away as you will never see another one soon.
