BURNING PLAGUE 's/t' LP (Netherlands, Pseudonym Records, Catalogue #VP99.053) Brand new/unplayed copy of limited year 2015 Pseudonym Records label edition of superb 1970 Belgian Hard Blues Rock LP by Burning Plague (originally released in 1970 on the Dutch branch of CBS Records.)

First time official reissue of highly collectable 1970 debut album by this legendary Belgian PSYCHEDELIC BLUES ROCK band. Burning Plagues self-titled 1970 debut album provided a flashpoint for Belgium's burgeoning blues rock scene, ramping up the intensity so far at various points that it verged on heavy. It wasn't quite enough to make the band famous, but their ballsy blues rock played through massive 100-watt Marshall stacks has made the original LP a highly-coveted collectors item that now commands princely sums. After many shoddy bootlegs, Pseudonym Records is proud to present the first legitimate reissue, 24-bit remastered from the original tapes with the full cooperation of the band. This edition reproduces the original artwork and includes a detailed biography by Doug Sheppard of Ugly Things magazine. 180 gram vinyl; Deluxe 320 gram carton gatefold sleeve; Rare archival photos included; LIMITED TO 400 COPIES.

"They were one of the few Belgian blues-rock groups that were on par with several Dutch groups, such as Cuby & The Blizzards and Livin' Blues. They wrote their own material, mostly long slow blues numbers augmented by electric guitars and screaming vocals. The band didn't last much more longer than a year before they called it a day.
