Description
Beatles for sale! What we’ve got here is the ultra-rare and infamous “Butcher Cover” Beatles record. What makes this valuable is the paste-over cover is still intact – as opposed to most of the pressing where the paste-over covers were usually torn off. If you are here looking at this album, you probably know what this is.
Cover has usual wear and tear (spine wear, worn cover/corners) – this is coming from a music lover’s collection, not a record collector. Nonetheless, it’s in good shape. Record has light surface scratches but does not affect play. On the center label on side A, there is some glitter residue that might come off with cleaner. Obviously does not affect play but I’m trying to say everything that might knock it down in condition.
I’ve taken this record to numerous sources including collectors and record shop owners – they have all verified its’ authenticity. This is a bonafide guaranteed original ‘second state’ Beatles “Butcher Cover” record!
Specs:
- Mono
- Capitol T 2553 serial
- RIAA 6 bottom corner
This should cover most questions – again, it’s a guaranteed Butcher so no need to ask for further verification in that regard. If you need more detailed info or photos, please get in touch. Serious bidders only – must have at least 20 feedback. Item listed as is. Free media mail shipping in the U.S. with tracking and delivery confirmation. If you would like to upgrade, buyer must pay.
