Description
TITLE/ARTIST: This hard to find, 1st and only LP release by this 1960's "one hit wonder", Buzz Clifford, is from back in 1961 - and does have 12 great songs by this artist, including his big hit single, "Baby Sittin' Boogie" - all in mono. In addition to the normal collectability of this LP, it has also been autographed in phrase to some lucky girl ("Jean") on the backside - see pics above. It is on the original, Columbia Label, and is in super good condition - the vinyl, the original Columbia Record's inner sleeve, and the neat looking jacket (but please see the pics above and read on). As already mentioned, the LP appears to be in super nice condition, especially the near mint vinyl - but please read on. LABEL INFO: This original, Columbia Label (CL 1616) is very clean and nice - I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me very little actual play. VINYL INFO: The vinyl - as well as the Columbia Record's inner sleeve - is also shiny, clean and nice with nothing in need of a mentioning either. To be honest, the vinyl appears to be about as nice as the day it was first purchased. JACKET INFO: Finally, the jacket is also primarily clean and free of any real serious flaws - but not perfect either. There are some definite signs of "aging and/or discoloring" on the outer edges of the backside only and some super light, very early signs of ring wear in a couple of other places (visible in pics above). Otherwise though, I see no real issues or problems with this autographed jacket. INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, in my opinion, this collectible LP is clean and nice, not to mention how difficult it is to find like this (and even autographed), so please have at it. As always, I have begun the auction at a low opening bid and have not listed it with any reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck!. In addition, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and even some C&W LPs/45's, too.
