The Buzzcocks - Lot Of 9 UK Original 7" Singles.
On offer here is a great little collection of UK original "The Buzzcocks" 7" Singles. They all come with a picture sleeve unless stated. The condition is very nice overall.
I have listed them individually below:
1. What Do I Get?/ Oh Shit (United Artists UP 36348 UK 7" 1978) UK original. It has a semi-buff Picture Sleeve which is printed on paper. The record has paper labels & has 1st press matrix stampers. Sleeve: Very nice! Just some very mild wear only. Very NEAR EX condition. Vinyl: This single has been kept in a PVC outer sleeve for a long time. The PVC sleeve has left some considerable marks on the vinyl. It does not affect play at all. Otherwise just some light to mild sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. Good+ condition. Plays near excellently. The labels are lovely & clean & show next to no spindle wear.
2. Ever fallen In Love/ Just Lust (United Artists UP 36455 UK 7" 1978) UK original. It has a semi-buff Picture Sleeve which is printed on paper. The record has paper labels & has 1st press A-1U B-1U matrix stampers. Sleeve: Very nice! There is a very small 5 mm tear at the sleeve opening. Otherwise very mild wear only. NEAR EX condition. Vinyl: This single has been kept in a PVC outer sleeve for a long time. The PVC sleeve has left some minimal marks on the vinyl. It does not affect play at all. Otherwise just some light to mild sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light, & a couple of light hairline marks. VG condition. Plays very well indeed. The labels are lovely & clean & show minimal spindle wear.
3. I Don't Mind/ Autonomy (United Artists UP 36386 UK 7" 1978) UK original. It has a Picture Sleeve which is printed on card. The record has paper labels & has 1st press A-1U/ B-1U matrix stampers. Sleeve: Very nice! Just some mild wear only. VG+ condition. Vinyl: This single has been kept in a PVC outer sleeve for a long time. The PVC sleeve has left some mild to moderate marks on the vinyl. It does not affect play at all. Otherwise just some light sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. VG condition. Plays excellently. The labels are lovely & clean & show no spindle wear.
4. Love You More/ Noise Annoys (United Artists UP 36433 UK 7" 1978) UK original. It has a Picture Sleeve which is printed on card. The record has paper labels & has 1st press A-1U/ B-1U matrix stampers. Sleeve: Very nice! Just some mild wear only. NEAR EX condition. Vinyl: This single has been kept in a PVC outer sleeve for a long time. The PVC sleeve has left some mild to moderate marks on the vinyl. It does not affect play at all. Otherwise just some light sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. VG condition. Plays excellently. The labels are lovely & clean & show no spindle wear.
5. Promises/ Lipstick (United Artists UP 36471 UK 7" 1978) UK original. It has a Picture Sleeve which is printed on card. The record has paper labels & has 1st press A-1U/ B-1U matrix stampers. Sleeve: Very nice! Just some mild wear only. VG++ condition. Vinyl: This single has been kept in a PVC outer sleeve for a long time. The PVC sleeve has left some minimal marks on the vinyl. It does not affect play at all. Otherwise just some light sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. VG+ condition. Plays excellently. The labels are lovely & clean & show no spindle wear.
6. Spiral Scratch EP (New Hormones ORG-1 UK 7" 1979) 2nd UK pressing with the "Howard Devoto" credit on the front. It has a semi-buff Picture Sleeve which is printed on paper. The record has paper labels & has 1st press A-1/ B-1 matrix stampers. Sleeve: There is a small tear on one rear flipback. Otherwise light wear only. VG+ condition. Vinyl: Light to mild sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. VG+ condition. Plays very well. The labels are lovely & clean & show minimal spindle wear.
7. Harmony In My Head/ Wrong Again (United Artists UP 36541 UK 7" 1979) UK original. It has a Picture Sleeve which is printed on card. The record has paper labels & has 1st press A-3U/ B-3U matrix stampers. Sleeve: Very nice! Just some very mild wear only. Very NEAR EX condition. Vinyl: This single has been kept in a PVC outer sleeve for a long time. The PVC sleeve has left some mild to more moderate marks on the vinyl. It does not affect play at all. Otherwise just some very light sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. VG condition. Plays excellently. The labels are lovely & clean & show next to no spindle wear.
8. The Fab Four EP (EMI EM 104 UK 7" EP 1989) UK original. It has a Picture Sleeve which is printed on card. The record has paper labels & has 1st press A-1/ B-1 matrix stampers. Sleeve: Very nice! Just some very mild wear only. Very NEAR EX condition. Vinyl: Just some light sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. NEAR EX condition. Plays excellently. The labels are lovely & clean & show next no spindle wear.
9. Pete Shelley - I Don't Know What It Is/ Witness The Change (Genetic UWIP 6740 UK 7" 1981) UK original. It has a plain black paper sleeve - which is in very nice condition. Has 1st press A-1U/ B-1U matrix stampers. Vinyl: Looks unplayed! Just some extremely light sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. EX+ condition. Play is superb. The labels are lovely & clean & show no spindle wear.
>> Grading Information All grading is very strict & adheres to 'Record Collector' specifications. However, I have fine tuned them & they are explained below. All vinyl is examined closely under a strong light & play tested.MINT Condition = As good as a copy you would buy from a shop, immaculate!
NEAR MINT Condition = Very nearly mint just slightly under, maybe a couple of very, very light paper sleeve scuffs that can only be seen under strong light. SOME WOULD CLASS THIS AS MINT. This disc has been played a couple of times at most. Cover is virtually perfect - very minimal wear only.
EX Condition = A clean & tidy copy that shows virtually no defects. Maybe one or two light needle scuffs or light sleeve removal marks that can only be seen under strong light. There will be no scratches. Play will be near perfect with no distortion. Cover will be very nice with maybe very minimal creasing, ringwear or edgewear.
NEAR EX Condition = You can tell this record has been played a few times but it has been well cared for. There will be minor surface marks only; that barely detract from the sound quality. Cover may have slight creasing or ringwear. A very serviceable copy that you will be pleased with.
VG Condition = A well played but serviceable copy. There will be a few marks on the vinyl, but they won't be nasty scratches, just relatively light needle scuffs and sleeve removal marks, they will be noticeable but won't detract from play too much. Cover will show signs of storage/ ageing, e.g., creasing, slight folding, spinewear, ringwear or sticker tears. The record will not be trashed!!

7" single = £2.25 add another £1.00 (optional up to £30) for insurance. This is for standard registered items. All insurance must cover the value of the item. Therefore, for expensive items (£70+), Royal Mail "Special Delivery" will be used. This will be an extra £5.00.
(You can add up to three 50g 7" singles at no extra postage cost. Insurance needs to be paid only once up to a value of £500)

Please note that these prices are as a general guideline only. For example: Double LPs are classed as two LPs. Also posters, inserts, etc.. can increase postage costs. One parcel must not exceed 2kg (approximately 4-6 LPS).
All records will be sent in high quality vinyl mailers with at least two card stiffeners either side of the LP or 7". I use a cruciform box for larger orders (4-6 LPs). All parcels will be marked "Fragile" and dispatch time will generally be between 1-3 days after payment.
I will also remove the vinyl from the sleeve & place them in a re-sealable polythene sleeve. In order to prevent seam splits. Depending on the inner sleeve; I often remove the vinyl from the inner sleeve & place it in a separate plain paper, or polythene-lined, plain inner sleeve. I am very conscientious and careful when packaging your LP(s).
I consider my postage & packaging costs to be very transparent & very fair. Packaging costs will generally be between £0.80 to £1.50. I am not adding any further costs for handling, etc...
