Description
Here is an excellent copy of Actuel Volume 00, part 2, released in 2001 on Get Back Records. This is a triple Lp compilation compiled and annotated bt Thurston Moore and Byron Coley and described as a collection of avant garde/free jazz/psychedelia from the BYG/ Actuel catalogue of 1969-1971. This is part 2, part 1 is in a seperate listing, I can combine shipping if you get both parts. Side A: Frank Wright "One for John/China, part 2", Dewey Redman "Tarik". Side B: Acting Trio "Cello Discordato No. 9", Don Cherry "Teo-Teo-Can" (excerpt), Anthony Braxton "B-Xo NO147a" (excerpt). Side C: Jimmy Lyons "Premonitions", Claude Delcloo?Arthur Jones "Africanasia, part 1" (excerpt), Gong "Squeezing Sponges Over Policemen's Heads/Foghat Digs Holes In Space". Side D: Musica Elettronica Viva "The Sound Pool, part 1A", Kenneth Terroade "Blessing". Side E: Alan Silva And The Celestrial Communication Orchestra "The Seasons, Part 6". Side F is an etching of some sort. This is a very well put together package, the triple gatefold has great liner notes about each piece of music, the vinyl is 180 gram and flawless, no scuffs or scratches. Very little signs of wear on the jacket, bottom left corner has a slight crease, edges are like new, no ring wear. I can't find this available on Get Back's website, possibly out of print.
