Listed here is a album by Babe Ruth titled First Base. This is a UK Original 1st Pressing on Harvest SHSP 4022. This stereo copy is pressed on the very collectable progressive Harvest label. The record is complete with lyric inner. This is a really under rated album, if you don’t know the track ‘The Mexican’ it’s worth purchasing just for it. Also has early matrix numbers.
Matrix numbers: SHSP 4022 A-1 / SHSP 4022 B-1
VINYL - Both sides of the record are in VG+ condition. Some light/minor background noise/static throughout, mostly noticeable on the run-ins/outs and between the tracks. NO Skips, NO Jumps, NO Sticking. Couple of light pops. There are a couple of hairline scratches, which don’t affect the sound quality, apart from a tiny one on side two that produces a couple of very light clicks. Vinyl still has that lovely glossy shine to it.
SLEEVE - The sleeve is in VG+ condition. Trace of spine wear (text is all readable), some minor edge wear. NO Tears or rips, NO splits, couple of light creases. Small trace of ring wear. NO Writing, pen marks or Graffiti.
Labels - The labels are in EX condition. Trace of spindle marks, NO Writing, pen marks or Graffiti.
Inner – The inner is in VG+ condition. NO Tears, NO Rips, NO Writing, pen marks or Graffiti.
Insert – The Lyric Inner is in VG+ condition. NO Tears, NO Rips, NO Writing, pen marks or Graffiti. Just a bit of creasing.
(note: never grade Mint as I believe once it’s been played, even just once it’s no longer Mint)
