Description
Blue Note 4068 with 47 West 63rd, NYC address on both labels; 43 West 63rd St. address on the bottom of the back cover. Record has “RVG” inscribed in the dead wax. An “ear” inscription can be clearly seen on the dead wax on 1 side but on the reverse side it appears as a small mark, not as closely defined as the traditional “ear” inscription. There appears to be a small smearing of the Blue Note, blue ink along the bottom of 1 of the labels. This is a relatively small blurring of the ink and can be considered as minor. All other details are clean. 6 tracks included Fred Jackson, tenor sax; Grant Green, guitar; Ben Dixon, drums. Cover: VG. 3” top edge split; 2” bottom edge split. Some edge and corner wear. Gloss cover shows light wear from handling. Back cover has some marker writing (see picture). Some aging on the back cover. There is some name written in black marker on the front cover but because of the dark color of the front cover, it is not very noticeable. Record: VG+ or better. Visually shows slight wear. 1 or 2 very light rub marks, barely visible and some assorted small surface marks also barely visible. There is some occasional light clicks, infrequent and short in duration. Very difficult to hear as the intensity of the music covers up the slight noise. A few light crackles are audible. Most audible on Track 3, Side 2. Audibly checked.
