"Baby Face" Willette
Face to Face LP
Blue Note 4068
Very rare original New York Mono pressing. I would conservatively grade the LP at VG. There is light surface noise throughout, a couple nicks, but no skipping or deep pops and it plays beautifully. It is very listenable and a wonderful album. Cover is VG/VG+ with a cleanly taped bottom seam and a 5" tape along top. Slight corner denting and back has two spots where the surface paper was torn lightly but doesn't obscure any text. The front is glossy with subtle scuffing that only slightly dulls the luster.
New York USA on side 1, 47 W 63rd on side 2. RVG and 9M stamp on each side with what I would say is the ear stamp in the dead wax trailoff (it appears the ear was simply not fully finished, but it's in the same place as all my other ear stamped LP's).
