Mozart Symphonies 33 & 39 Kertetz Aust Decca SXLA 6056
Istvan Kertesz conducts the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra in performances of the Mozart “Symphonies No’s 33 and 39”. An Australian stereo pressing on the Decca Label (SXLA 6056 stampers 1E/1E), the labels are orange with silver lettering, a full frequency stereophonic sound fatband and logo with original recording by… at 10 o’clock. Side one’s label has a “sample record” sticker. The record has a grey mark at the start of side one (heat?) that does not sound and otherwise it is of excellent appearance, and plays and sounds superb with a minimum of surface noise. The English cover has some minor wear only.
