Description
Bach Cello Suites no 1 and 2. Daniil Shafran Cello. Melodia/Eterna Stereo 8 26 794
Beautiful recording of Bach's first two Cello Suites by the legendary cellist Daniel Shafran. I had the good fortune to see Shafran play a recital at the Wigmore Hall some years ago and it was one of the most memorable cello recitals I have ever attended, especially the 45 minute encore session he treated us to! If you don't know his playing then I can highly recommend this great recording!
The LP is in EX condition. There is some very slight surface noise which is barely audible, but no deep scratches or repetitive ticks. The cover is in good condition. There are some minor creases on the front bottom right hand cover, some minor fraying on the edges and a few marks on the back of the sleeve.
This comes from a large collection of LPs that a former music professor has asked me to sell on his behalf. There are some real treasures which I will post from time to time when I can. Please look at the other records I've listed today.
