Description: Up for your consideration is the next in a series of unique Lps, this one from Sandor Vegh.

Several unique things about this item: Firstly, the records retain the original shine with no visible imperfections, grading by sight in normal room light. I'm sure if you took this and put it under a 1000 watt bulb, you'd probably find something that makes it less than mint. If you're that kind of collector, and after a recent unpleasant experience with a buyer from Malaysia, let me suggest this auction is not for you. I don't claim this record is mint.
Based on visual observation and past experience, one should expect the tracks on this disc to audibly average at least one-half of the way between VG+(excellent) and Near Mint. You can assign your own grade based on the audible scale shown below. If you'd like an audio grade, drop me an e-mail well in advance of the end of auction and I'll include one with the listing.

Secondly, at the time of this listing, one past sale for a similar item on e-bay for nearly $200! No copies found for sale out on the Internet!

I am using the Goldmine scale of G=Good(1), VG = Very Good(2), VG+ = Very Good Plus(excellent)(3), NM = Near Mint(4) when grading the disc(s).

Here is a summary of the record(s):

Artist: Sandor Vegh Title: Johann Sebastian Bach Sonaten und Partiten fur Violine solo Record: Black vinyl with original shine and no visible imperfections, grading by sight in normal room light. Labels: Light blue with black/white print. No pen/pencil marks, no stickers, a few spindle marks. Trailing wax: Side 1: "6.35 344 -01-1 A-B-II Manufactured in Germany". Side 2: "6.35 344 -01-2 A-B-II Manufactured in Germany" Inner sleeve: Three generic, white sleeves with protective plastic inner linings in fine shape. Cover: The bottom spine corner on the box has a small, heavy wear spot. The top spine corner has a small 1/3" chip which barely intrudes into the "B" in Bach on the spine print. The top spine corner is split on the corner. There is slight general wear front/back. Small remains of a sticker front upper right corner. There is a 2-3" seam split on the back top/bottom edges which is centered. No stickers, no pen/pencil marks. Rate the cover VG to VG+(excellent), closer to VG. Comments: . Based on past experience and visual observation, one should expect the tracks to audibly average at least 1/2 of the way between VG+(excellent) and Near Mint. The 4-page booklet is in three different languages, French, German and English. There is some spotting on the front inside cover and on the booklet. An excellent addition to your classical collection. Additional criteria I use when audibly grading records for people:

• NM(4) = absolutely nothing wrong at all (very rarely happens--I've even opened sealed records and they don't play Near Mint)
• 3.5-3.9 = very, very light surface noise
• 3.1-3.4 = very light surface noise, very light pops
• VG+(3) = up to light pops and light surface noise (below this, one's enjoyment is affected, very subjective)
• VG(2) = up to medium pops and moderate surface noise
• G(1) = up to heavy pops and heavy surface noise

I normally ship Lp's in 14"x14"x6" boxes padded in styrofoam. Weight with box is about 2 pound 11 oz. Shipping is: $3.16 Media Rate (2-3 pounds) + $2.00 box/tape/packing + $.80 delivery confirmation = $5.96.

Buyer pays shipping/handling. Standard method within U.S. is Media Rate, $5.96. This includes delivery confirmation which enables you to track shipping of your package online.
