Considered by many the finest modern performance of the august Bach Cello Suites (here Suites 5 & 6) by a living soloist--here the masterly Yo-Yo Ma. Omnibus Guide asserts: "This is not just a master set by a master cellist, it is the premier set of these seminal works by the finest cellist of the past twenty years." Who's to argue?? This item offers the standard U.S. Pressings. Jacket dated 1983 and Disk deadwax hand-engraved G-1A (Side 1) and 1F (Side 2) indicating First Pressings from the original masters. Visual inspection shows disk appears flawless retaining a high-gloss vinyl sheen on both sides. Vinyl easily near-mint. (Play grading happily provided upon request.) Jacket is near-Mint as well.
