Bach Telemann Music for Solo Violin Kremer Melodiya
On “Music for Solo Violin”, Gidon Kremer plays the Bach “Partita No. 1”, Telemann “Fantasie No. 7”, Barakaouskas “Partita”, and Ernst “La derniere rose de L’ete”. A Russian stereo pressing on the Melodiya Label (CM 03573-4), the record is of immaculate appearance, and the cover is excellent.
This record is one of a collection of records that had never been played. Some are sealed*, some have a store seal** and the rest are in mint condition.
* very few records outside the U.S. were ever shrink wrapped and it was only toward the end of the LP Era that this became common.
**Some record stores in Australia before being placed on their racks would attach a seal, either to the opening of the cover, or over the inner bag.
