Description

Badger - One Live Badger

(Atlantic K40472 UK LP 1973)

This is a UK original LP pressing. It has a heavyweight matt gatefold sleeve. This has a Pop-Up badger on the inner gatefold. It comes with its original company plain paper inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has green and orange "Atlantic" labels. The record has 1st press A/ B matrix stampers. A genuine UK 1st pressing.

A very good early 1970's UK Prog Rock LP. The band features ex "Yes" keyboardist Tony Kaye. It has an excellent Roger Dean designed sleeve too.

Gatefold Sleeve: There is some light, mild or more moderate rubbing wear to the bottom edges on some areas. There is some light, mild or very mild rubbing wear on the top edges on some areas. There is more moderate to moderate rubbing wear to the corner tips. The pop-up badger is firmly attached at the inner gatefold, & is in perfect working order. However, it is slightly out of alignment with its foot markers on the inner gatefold. This doesn't really notice that much. The spine is in very nice shape. The text is clearly legible. There is some light, mild or more moderate rubbing wear at the sleeve opening edges. This is not that noticeable. There is a very small area of sticker residue on the front sleeve. This, again, is not that noticeable. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear on the rear sleeve. Overall, Very Good condition

Vinyl: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can only be seen under a strong light. There is one long, but very light, 9 cm hairline mark on Side 1. There is a small 2 cm surface pressing mark on Side 1 too. There are 3 light hairline surface marks on Side 2. These measure from 1.5 cm to 6.5 cm in length. There is a small finger-tip sized surface rub mark on Side 2. Overall, Very Good condition. There is a tiny pin-head sized tear on each label. Otherwise, mild spindle wear. They are in very good+ condition overall. The company plain paper inner sleeve is in Very Good condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.

I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Very Good+ to Near Excellent overall & Excellent in many places. There is some light, very mild or very minor crackle in some quieter places. There are no noticeable clicks or pops. Overall, a very nice audio copy.
