Description

RARE Record has some light surface scratches, scuffs and wear but plays and sounds great on my player. Labels have light wear.
Happy to combine shipping. Can get up to 3-45's for the same shipping price.  Most of these 45's were in Jeff's personal collection for over 40 years.
Barry Lane was working in Arizona and (uncredited) The Checkers from Yakima WA backed him up on this 45. More detailed info can be found in chapter 18 of the book "Stomp and Shout by Peter Blecha.
Info from NWmusicarchives: the Checkers proceeded to do some recording sessions with engineer, Joe Boles, in West Seattle. Then, somehow, the guys convinced themselves to drive to Phoenix, Arizona to find fame and for­tune. However, Coryell was trapped in spring semester high school classes. Hey, no problem! The Checkers packed their gear into a trailer and simply kidnapped Coryell (locked in the trailer!) to Phoenix. Their only booking upon arrival was at a wrestling match intermission. The band did, however, get invited into a local studio where they provided instrumental backing fo singles by two singers: Barry Lane and Peggy Lynn.
