Description
A vinyl LP copy of Barry Manilow’s live in concert double album, issued in 1977 (catalogue no. Arista DARTY 3), with discs, cover and inner sleeves in immaculate condition, with no marks, scratches, creases or other signs of wear whatsoever. I have owned this album from new, and it has been played only a few times, and has been carefully stored unused for 30 years.
This double live album is a particularly collectable item, being in immaculate condition with a lavish black / dark blue gatefold sleeve and various concert photos, and is a very entertaining record of Barry at the peak of his early success. The concert was recorded in New York with Barry’s band and an orchestra, and includes rousing versions of hit songs such as Mandy, It’s a miracle, I write the songs, Looks like we made it, Weekend in New England, Daybreak and other popular album tracks. Two long and fast-paced medleys are also included, one based around songs with clever jazzy vocal arrangements, and the other a range of commercial jingles which Barry originally wrote or sang.
Track listing as follows:
Riders to the stars
Why don’t we live together
Looks like we made it
New York City rhythm
Very strange medley
Jump shout boogie medley
This one’s for you
Beautiful music (in 3 parts)

If sent through the post, the album will be very carefully packaged, but to minimise any risk collection would also be welcome (near Church Stretton, south Shropshire).
