Description
Complete 24 Volume Set of The Basic Library of the World's Greatest Music
This is a rare offering of the complete 24 volume edition The Basic Library of the World's Greatest Music ("the Library"). While many people have posted offerings of The Basic Library of the World's Greatest Music, very few of them have offered the complete, 24 volume Library.
The Basic Library of the World's Greatest Music, 1958 edition, was published by The Standard Reference Works Publishing Company ("TSRWPC"). As noted by the Website "Classical Musical References", TSRWPC was known for publishing the well known encyclopedia, Funk & Wagnalls. Indeed, the listener guides to The Basic Library of the World's Greatest Music were curated by officials from Funk & Wagnalls along with some prominent people in the music industry.
In the photos I have uploaded, I have included photos showing:
1. The Complete Table of Contents for the 24 Volume Library, 2. The composers represented in the Library, 3. A close up picture of one of the album's sleeves in the Library, 4. All 24 volumes of the Library stacked, 5. All 24 volumes of the Library spread out (across two separate photos), 6. Six photos showing 4 different albums open with the record on part of the sleeve so one can get a feel for the condition of the vinyl albums, 7 Six photos showing the records sleeves closed so that one see the front of the albums.
These records are 33 RPM Long Play vinyl albums.
Each album comes with its own cardboard record sleeve.
The albums sleeves are in good condition but, as can be seen in the photos, do show some minor.
The albums are also in good condition.
