Description
Chris Bacon – Bates Motel (Original Soundtrack) Out-of-Print release. Complete collector copy.
This is one of the most beautiful records in my collection. Original soundtrack to the Emmy-nominated series Bates Motel, composed by Chris Bacon. Long sold out and increasingly scarce.
Condition notes (fully disclosed):
- Outer sleeve: excellent, no dings or creases
- Inner sleeves: one shows shelfwear with light creasing; one edge beginning to separate (see photos)
- Discs: played once, clean and pristine
- Poster: excellent
- Hype sticker included (affixed to protective sleeve)
- Stored in a smoke-free, climate-controlled environment.
Notes for Collectors: This is a complete Deluxe Edition of the Bates Motel Original Soundtrack, long out of print and increasingly difficult to source in near-complete condition. While one inner sleeve shows cosmetic wear, the vinyl itself is exceptionally clean and the full presentation remains intact.
Ideal for collectors prioritizing music condition, completeness, and scarcity over minor packaging imperfections.
ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK Bates Motel (Rare 2017 US Limited Collector’s Edition 26-track double ‘Shower Drain’ Picture Disc LP, featuring Chris Bacon’s Emmy-Nominated score from the soundtrack to the Award-Winning TV series. Comes housed in a stunning, deluxe & embossed gatefold ‘pop-up’ sleeve with picture inners, a double-sided A4 sheet containing liner notes from the composer & a bonus fold-out colour poster. Still in the hype stickered open polybag.
Going into its fifth season, Bates Motel is one of the most refreshing and flat-out frightening exercises in horror to ever invade tv. Its unsettling, character-drenched drama is the very definition of the slow burn; burrowing into your consciousness, never letting go.
This very particular brand of subtle (and often murderous) anxiety is brought to life by composer Chris Bacon’s elegant and eerie score which, at its height, is deeply disturbing and at its core, is magically maniacal. No wonder it was nominated for a Emmy in 2016!
iam8bit + Lakeshore Records have partnered with A&E and Universal Television to produce this loaded collector’s edition package, which includes a striking, hand-assembled pop-up gatefold featuring the famous Bates Motel and Psycho house, lovingly designed by the one-and-only Phantom City Creative.
