The Beach Boys

Pet Sounds

180g Virgin Vinyl, all vacuum tube cutting system, mastered by Steve Hoffman and Kevin Gray

Catalog / Label Number: DCC LPZ-2006

Near Mint

Description:

Artist: The Beach Boys

Title: Pet Sounds

Label: DCC

Catalog Number: LPZ-2006

Country: USA

Issue: 1995 DCC audiophile 180g reissue, still the gold standard for pressing quality and sound quality nearly 20 years later.  LONG out of print.

Vinyl Grade: Near Mint - as new condition, no spindle marks on either label, please see close-up photos

Cover Grade:  Near Mint.  The first two photos above are of the DCC replacement cover that will be included in this listing, it is 'new old stock' and never used before (near mint).  The 3rd and 4th photos are of the cover this LP came with (also included), it is in very nice condition but has a minor seam-split on the bottom, which is why I obtained the replacement cover.  Also included is the original double-sided color insert (see photos above).  A complete Near Mint package in top collector condition.

Notes: Mastered by Steve Hoffman and Kevin Gray for the DCC audiophile label back in 1995, this is one of the great ones.  If you have a turntable, this is definitely the way to hear Pet Sounds.  Timeless music at its best.

Packaging: The sealed album will be placed in a clear outer protective sleeve, then sandwiched between two large cardboard stiffener pads and carefully taped together.  I have used this method for many years to practically eliminate seam splits on sealed LPs.  The album is then packaged with bubble-wrap and Styrofoam peanuts in an oversize box.  I know what it is like to receive poorly packaged records, you will not have that experience with me!

Tracking: You should automatically receive your Tracking Number by email when the Shipping Label is printed.

eBay History of Record LP sales: 14 years on eBay.  Please do check my Seller feedback comments with regard to accurate LP grading, safe packaging and quick shipping.

Feedback: If there is any problem with your package, please contact me so that I have the opportunity to resolve the issue before leaving feedback.  My goal is to have happy customers and repeat business.

Payment:  per eBay’s new policy, please make payment via PayPal within 2 days.

Shipping and Handling Time: Packages normally ship the day after payment (excluding weekends and holidays) with email notification and Tracking number.

No Return Policy:  This highly collectible album is in top condition, long out of print and not replaceable.  I have packaged many hundreds of valuable record LPs over the years, but most people have not, and one trip through the postal system is enough, so this album is offered with eBay's 'No Return' policy in effect for this listing.  As always, if there is a problem with the item itself (e.g., item is somehow not as described), eBay's money back guarantee is still in effect.  Please check my feedback, you will see that I only offer top quality record albums and my customers are happy!

International Buyers – Shipping Options: International shipping options are listed above (see Shipping and Payments tab), shipping cost is automatically calculated by eBay shipping calculator.

International Buyers – Customs Fees: Please be aware that your country may charge you Import Duties, Taxes or other Fees at the time of Delivery which are NOT included in the Item price or shipping.  Any such Import charges are the Buyer’s responsibility.  Please check with your country’s Customs Office to determine any additional Fees before bidding.

Weight Limit of 4 Lbs. for International First Class Mail:  Please note that First Class International Mail has a 4 Lb. weight limit.  If you make multiple purchases and the combined weight is over the 4 Lb. weight limit we will have to use two separate First Class International packages or use Priority Mail International.  If your combined total is over 4 Lbs. then I will contact you about the shipping (one package vs. two), but the shipping cost should be basically the same.

Questions?  Please send me a message anytime, I am always happy to talk about music!
