Description
Here’s an ORIGINAL 1966 copy the Beach Boys Pet Sounds album. Many critics have called this the greatest album of all time. With its lush, symphonic sounds, it is truly a masterpiece of music production by the leader of the Beach Boys, Brian Wilson. When it originally came out in May 1966, it suffered the fate of a record company that did not believe in this “new” sound. Instead, the company concentrated their promotional efforts on a greatest hits album, released soon after. As a result the album, while being a hit, wasn’t a huge seller in comparison to earlier Beach Boys albums, and original copies of it are hard to come by. The vinyl grades in the VG range, nice looking full gloss, one scratch on side one that causes some clicking here and there, but no skips. The cover is in nice shape with no seam splits, writing, tape or other problems. The original orange Capitol innersleeve is included. This is on the Capitol records label, number DT 2458, duophonic. INTERNATIONAL BIDS WELCOME. Drop me a message if ebay doesn’t calculate shipping for you. California residents add 7.975% tax. Happy bidding!!
