Very obscure, rare promotional item from the 1960's DISCOSCENE Record Club. Please refer to both pictures on this listing for details.
This is a seven inch laminated cardboard sound sheet that plays at 33 RPM. The record speaks to the benefits of belonging and ordering from the Discoscene Record Club. It is narrated by a very hip and swingin' cool DJ like personality Hy Lit. Lots of far out heavy language and verbage, a true time piece!
It hypes and plays a short segment of tracks from:
Herman Hermits Gary Lewis & The Playboys Four Seasons Brenda Lee Mongo Santamaria Stevie Wonder
But probably of most interest is the fact that this also features a spot for the then recently released Beach Boys Psych classic "PET SOUNDS" The record plays a portion of "Wouldn't It Be Nice"
The record plays surprisingly well for what it is and is a true 60's throw back and pure nostalgic fun.
