Description
This is the very first private pressing of The Beach Boys “SMiLE” from 1983 in all its historical lofi glory. Yes, Wind Chimes and Wonderful are from Smiley Smile, Vega-Tables is by Laughing Gravy, and Holidays is actually Miles Davis' Here Come De Honey Man... but somehow the chaotic version of Good Vibrations and the extra speed on Mrs. O'Leary's Cow captured the weirdness and wildness of the music in ways that BWPS or the SMiLE Sessions don't. And the lo-finess only deepened our fascination with this music, and the mystery of what lay in the vaults. Listening to this back then was like picking up strangely beautiful and sometimes scary radio signals from some distant universe. Well, maybe you had to be there.

This record was played once on a high-end turntable and is in Near Mint condition. Outer Sleeve is EX, Inner Sleeve M, and the Inlay of Liner Notes credited to James Watt is NM. One corner of the outer sleeve is worn, see Photo #8
