Description
Available here is an extremely rare 45 - "Surfin' / Luau" by The Beach Boys, released in 1961 on X Records.
This is the second pressing of this record; X Records was a small Los Angeles-based company. You will be hard-pressed to find another copy of this 45 on X Records in this condition.
This record has had one owner; my oldest brother purchased it new and it has remained in the family since then. If you are reading this, you most likely know very well the scarcity of these records.
The vinyl is in VG+ condition, with plenty of hairlines on both sides but nothing egregious (listen to the record play all the way through in attached video). Still plenty of gloss. The only blemish is a tiny (1/4") crack on run in (see final photo, hard to see). DOES NOT IMPACT PLAY on either side; both sides play through with no skips (video shows my automatic turntable setting the needle down on the record and playing from start). Both labels are in nice, clean, complete shape. Record comes in a clean plain paper sleeve with plastic center.
