Description

This item is a rare promo white label pressing of the Brother/Reprise album Carl and The Passions-So Tough/Pet Sounds set. This is what many people feel is the best pressing of Pet Sounds, and this is a first edition of that pressing. The Carl and the Passions album marks the debut of Ricky Fataar and Blondie Chaplin, consummate musicians who brought a soulful sound. I find it amazing that The Beach Boys asked two men from South Africa to be members at the height of Apartheid in South Africa. They did it without fanfare or drama. The vinyl in this set is Mint. The cover is EX with visible wear arcs front and back bottom. Questions may be directed to me through Ebay.
