This has been in my collection since its release. I had just gone to college and was way heavy into CDs and Manchester/UK music so this got played once and then left in the collection at the parents' home. I didn't resurrect the turntable again until the early 2000's so since then, I'd say this has been played maybe ten times....maybe.
The vinyl looks like it was made yesterday HOWEVER, there is some slight surface noise that mostly sticks out at the very beginning due to the quiet nature of the intro to the album. Maybe a good VPI cleaning would help. It certainly hasn't been overplayed and it has certainly been stored properly. There is a slight bend/crease at the top of the record (pictured) that was like that when I opened it due to the shrink-wrap being super tight. There is slight shelf wear at the bottom (pictured) as this didn't see a protective bag until the early 2000's. Certainly not ugly! The printed inner sleeve is flawless!
You'll need a time machine or a ton of cash to find a better copy of this Original 1st UK Press!
There are ZERO returns unless you can prove that what you received was markedly different than what was advertised. I have been buying/selling/grading vinyl for over 30 years and have had ZERO issues on ebay.
