This vinyl is rare as hell. I know what I would ask if I was looking to buy it, so I will list answers to the questions I would have. If you have more questions feel free to ask.

Q: Where did you get this record
A: From a private seller who had contacts at Grand Royal.

Q: How do you know it is not a boot?
A: The faxes and the etchings in the run out groove served as provenance.

Q: What are the etchings in the run out groove
A: Side A: BB-SV5-A-RE1  is etched into the vinyl. MASTERDISK  is stamped into the vinyl. 24681(2) is etched into the vinyl.
A: Side B: BB-SV5-B-RE1 is etched into the vinyl. MASTERDISK is stamped into the vinyl. 2468.2 (2) is etched into the vinyl.

Q: What is the condition of the vinyl, sleeve?
A:  I have played the vinyl once with a high performance cartridge. I would say M- on the vinyl. Sleeve has wear on the corners from storage.

Q: Was this used at a show. If so what show?
A: My guess is no. The stamp on the sleeve of the record is dated 6/18/1998. The Vinyl could have been used in a show on the European leg of the 1998 tour. It was pressed after the last US show on 6/14/1998 (Washington, USA RFK stadium), and in time to be used for the Loreley festival on 6-20-1998. The condition of the vinyl is exceptional and I do not believe it was torn to shreds by Mix Master Mike. I have listened to recordings of the Loreley festival and many of the breaks that are on this vinyl were used by MMM but I can not say with certainty that this particular vinyl was used.

Q: Why are you selling it???
A: My 5 yr old has some medical complications that insurance will not cover.

A: Yes
